Rick grew up in a dog-loving family and spends his spare time volunteering to help homeless cats and dogs in shelters.
Recently, he took a weekend road trip driving 29 dogs, a cat and 8 puppies from Chicago to Wisconsin as a volunteer for Alabama Rescue Relay (ARR).

ARR is a non-profit organization dedicated to save “surplus” animals from high kill shelters and transports them to national rescue groups in other states and be given a chance to find loving homes.
This is Garden, one of the puppies who were transported to Wisconsin.
